Bible Training Center

The Bible Training Center was initiated in 1996 by Morris and Mary McLean at San Luis in the Peten region of Guatemala. Most pastors in the more remote regions of Guatemala have received very little, if any, Biblical training. The remaining church leaders have received absolutely no training.

During 2003, the center was able to provide training to fifty church leaders representing several denominations in that region.

The McLeans have trained a staff of two Guatemalans who now teach the 26 courses that comprise the three year curriculum. The 16 hour courses are taught during either two eight hour Saturday sessions per month or eight two hour sessions during two evenings of each week for a month.
